Handball club RK Olimpija

Handball club RK Olimpija from the capital of Slovenia Ljubljana is celebrating 60 years of existence this year and has decided to honour this tradition with (re)building an ambitious team, capable of achieving the highest positions in Slovenia as well as in Europe.

Team RK Olimpija vision is to operate as a modern European handball club with our own handball school, vision, strategy and praxis, all aimed at building a team of the highest quality and maintaining that quality. We follow the belief that the highest level team can be built on the experience of established players which is reinforced and added to by competition with younger ones. The added value and energy is brought to the team by three generations of players living, training and competing side by side, learning from each other.

The main foci of our vision are also promoting sports, handball in particular, and sport as a way of life.
